Intro

Decades of proven experience

I have decades of Information Technology and Information Security experience. I have a proven history of making good Information Technology and Information Security decisions on a local, State wide and national scale. I am a proven team leader and team member, with a long history of successful projects. Which includes highly successful work on projects of a national scale.

Outside of the Box

I was involved with Boy Scouts in a number of capacities from 2010 through 2013. These include roles as ScoutMaster, Assistant Scoutmaster, Eagle Scout Mentor/Coach, Advancement Chair, Committee member, Merit Badge Counselor, etc. I enjoy teaching youth outdoor skills. I am a Brotherhood member of the Boy Scouts Order of the Arrow (National Volunteer and Honor Society). Becoming a member of the Order of the Arrow is one of my proudest moments in Scouting, since the only way adults can become Order of the Arrow members is if they are elected to it by the youth members.

About Me

A street in Japan

An Abbreviated Biography

I was born in Brownwood, Texas. At the time my father was in the United States Air force. Not long after I was born my family moved to Kadena Air Force Base in Okinawa, Japan.

We lived in Okinawa for a few years and then my father was transferred to Fort Meade, Maryland. We remained in Maryland until my father got out of the military.

After my father left the military, we moved around quite a bit with his job to different cities and States. It wasn’t until the mid-1970’s that our family finally settled in Waco, Texas. Where my family has since remained. I went to High School and College in the Waco area. I later moved to Houston, Texas for a job. Eventually, I returned to Waco, Texas to be near my family.

I like to travel and meet new people. I have been to many places, but I think my favorite place to visit is Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Every time I go there, I still find so much in the Vancouver area that I have yet to see and explore.
